SMDC was formally established in 1983 as a dispensary facility and throughout its history has had a solid reputation for dedicated service to the region as an outdoor setup.
SMDC OPD setup was established with 9 bed indoor facility.
SMDC is now home to multiple services including OPD services, minimum charged dispensary, pharmacy, and radiology facility, approved by tb dot program and also providing vaccination facility by the national immunisation program.
It has embarked laboratory facilities (Sakina Ismail Lab) as well in its portfolio.
The SMDC, has grown considerably in scope over the years and it offers a broad spectrum of clinical specialties including: Family Medicine, Gynaecology, Hematology, Physiotherapy, Dermatology and aesthetic clinic.
